Apostle Mary E. Burton was born in Swansea, South Carolina and is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. Apostle Mary Burton was married to the late Deacon Melvin Burton from this union was birth four children Curtis Burton, LaWanika Gordon, DeNeal Burton and
Ashonda Hayward and has one son-in-law Wesley Gordon, and she’s a grandmother and great grandmother.
Apostle Mary Burton was called to preach the Good news of Jesus Christ in 1979 and was ordained as an Evangelist. God has call and lead Apostle Burton to traveled preaching the Gospel across this great country and abroad. Apostle Burton has preached in Butvach Germany, Fulda Germany, as well as Nigeria West Africa where she has been twice preaching and teaching the word of God. In 1993 by the leading of Holy Spirit, the Pastor and overseer Margaret Castillo turned God Deliverance Center over to Apostle Mary Burton. In 1997 through the unction of the Holy Spirit New Hope Deliverance Ministries was birth. Isaiah 61:1-3 is the scriptures that the vision of New Hope Deliverance Ministries is founded on. With prayer and fasting Apostle Mary Burton and the New Hope Family came under the covering and leadership of Bishop Cardell Sutton, (then) Pastor of New Life Outreach Ministries.
In 2011 Apostle Mary Burton went back to school and graduated in 2014 from New Life Bible College with an Associate Degree of Theological and Applied Ministry. On August 5, 2017 Pastor Mary Burton was ordained as an Apostle under the umbrella of Kingdom Covenant Fellowship.
